Tips on Managing and Improving Cash Flow |

Cash flow is typically defined as the movement of money into or out of a business. But looking at it in a slightly different way, as the amount of time between a business paying its bills and getting paid for its services, ideas for better managing cash flow can be seen. |
One tip is to take more time to pay if possible. If suppliers will give 30 days to pay, wait for the 30 days; not only does this reduce the amount of time between payment out and payment in, but it will also keep your cash in the bank longer, allowing it to earn interest, albeit a meagre amount.
Second, and in a similar vein, using a credit card to pay on the due date will let you push back your actual payment to your credit card due date, which gives you up to 30 days more before you pay out cash, and helps you manage cash flow further.
